Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies for the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering expert services like new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency claimed it is actually alarmed regarding the large variety of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The goal with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the superior number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This read more is certainly as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office dedicated to service the area each day. The assistance issue produced for intervention encounters a large influx of likely beneficiaries, which makes it challenging to the office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more assets to permit the servicing of all consumers and boost entry to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
